KEETCargo respects the privacy of the individuals and businesses that visit our websites, access our online platform, request quotations, book shipments, and otherwise interact with our services.

This Privacy Policy explains how KEETCargo (“KEETCargo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, processes, maintains, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with:

This Privacy Policy describes our privacy practices and is not intended to create contractual rights beyond those provided by applicable law or a separate written agreement.

Use of KEETCargo is also subject to the KEETCargo Terms and Conditions of Service.

Use of the KEETCargo Platform necessarily requires KEETCargo to collect and process certain information to:

Shipment locations, including pickup addresses, origins, destinations, airports, and consignee locations, are collected where necessary to quote, book, administer, or perform a transportation transaction.

KEETCargo does not intentionally collect precise real-time location from a user’s personal device unless a specific function requiring that information is offered and appropriate notice is provided.

Where necessary for transportation, security, fraud prevention, export compliance, sanctions compliance, payment-risk analysis, insurance, or legal purposes, we may collect or process information used to:

The technologies used on the public KEETCargo.com website may differ from those used within the credentialed app.KEETCargo.com environment.

8. Sale, Sharing and Targeted Advertising

KEETCargo is not a data broker.

KEETCargo does not sell customer lists or individually identifiable customer or shipment information to unrelated third parties for monetary consideration.

KEETCargo may, however, use analytics, advertising, attribution, measurement, and similar technologies that result in certain identifiers or Internet or electronic-network activity being disclosed to technology providers.

Depending upon applicable law and the configuration and use of a particular technology, such disclosure may constitute:

Where applicable law gives an individual the right to opt out of such activity, KEETCargo will honor valid opt-out requests as required by law.

A marketing opt-out does not prevent KEETCargo from sending communications necessary for:

Legacy “Do Not Track”

Some browsers provide a legacy “Do Not Track” or “DNT” setting.

Because there is no universally adopted standard governing legacy DNT signals, KEETCargo does not treat a legacy DNT signal alone as a privacy request unless applicable law requires otherwise.

GPC and other legally recognized opt-out preference signals are treated separately from legacy DNT.

KEETCargo retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate:

KEETCargo is operated from the United States and primarily provides services associated with U.S.-origin transportation.

International transportation necessarily involves parties operating in multiple countries.

Personal information may therefore be transferred to or processed in:

locations in which relevant Service Providers or technology providers operate.

KEETCargo websites or applications may contain links to or integrate with third-party services.

A third party’s independent collection or processing of information may be governed by that third party’s privacy policy and terms.

KEETCargo is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third parties acting for their own purposes.

18. Children’s Privacy

KEETCargo is a B2B commercial freight technology platform and is not directed to children under 13 years of age.

KEETCargo does not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13.

If we learn that such information has been collected in circumstances subject to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act or similar applicable law, we will take appropriate action.

KEETCargo does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age for purposes requiring affirmative authorization under California law.

19. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights concerning personal information when the applicable state privacy law applies to KEETCargo and the relevant processing activity.

An opt-out request does not require the individual to discontinue use of KEETCargo’s services where the relevant sale or sharing is not necessary to provide the service.

KEETCargo will not require an individual to surrender a statutory privacy right as a condition of using the Platform where applicable law prohibits such a condition.

Right to Limit Certain Uses of Sensitive Personal Information

Where applicable, California law may permit an individual to limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information.

KEETCargo generally uses sensitive personal information for operational, authentication, transaction, security, fraud-prevention, transportation, compliance, and related purposes and does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for advertising.

Right to Non-Discrimination

KEETCargo will not unlawfully discriminate against a person for exercising a privacy right provided by applicable California law.

This does not prevent KEETCargo from being unable to provide a particular service where information that an individual declines to provide or permit us to process is reasonably necessary to provide that service.

Verification

KEETCargo may reasonably verify requests to:

Verification may include matching information supplied with information already maintained by KEETCargo or requesting additional information reasonably necessary to protect against unauthorized access, deletion, or modification.

Where we cannot fulfill a request because of an applicable exemption, inability to verify, or another lawful reason, we will provide the explanation required by law.

21. California “Shine the Light”

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 may provide certain California customers with rights concerning disclosure of personal information to third parties for those third parties’ own direct-marketing purposes.

KEETCargo does not provide customer personal information to unrelated third parties so those third parties can independently market their own products or services directly to KEETCargo customers in a manner intended to be covered by that provision.

22. Changes to this Privacy Policy

KEETCargo may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:
